Cookbook: 300 Sensational Soups

I was recently able to check out 300 Sensational Soups and let me tell ya, I was impressed!  I honestly never thought there were so many possible soups!  This book covers a huge variety!  The chapters include:

• soup stocks
• chilled soups
• fresh garden vegetable soups
• bean soups
• hearty meat lovers soups
• cheese soups
• fish and shellfish soups
• chowders
• world of soups
• dessert soups
• toppings and garnishes

I can’t wait to experiment with the chilled soups this summer, but for now we’ll stick with the hot soups on these cool days!  Nothing like a good hot soup to take the chill away!

There are a LOT of great soups, even for picky people like me.  We have to deal with some food allergies in our house, and there are enough recipes that I don’t really have to worry about not being able to try them out.  Monkey has picked one to try out soon, I’ll post pics.  😀  Some of the recipes will be posted in upcoming days so be sure to keep an eye out for them!  If you are reading this in reviews, you’ll be able to find the recipes in the recipe tab.  😀
One of the things I love about this book is the vast variety of different types of soup.  Chief Zoo Keeper tends to get tired of having a meal more than once a month so I am really appreciating the additions to our menu!
