Okay, have you SEEN these adorable little guys??? I’m in love!!! They are super super cute!!! When you push them down, they look like they are just cupcakes! Of course, there is always sweetness in the middle of the cupcakes!!! And, voila! New zoo additions!!!
Okay, you all know I’m a bit crazy so I HAD to do a shot of them peeking out! LOL. What? If YOU were in the cupcake wrapper, wouldn’t YOU want to see what was outside of it with flashy lights attacking you??? HA! We all know if you said no, YOU are SO lying! Just be honest, you’d peek too!!!
I received these two little guys to review. A squirrel with a nut…. HA! As if we aren’t nuts already! And a sweet little bear! Complete with honey bees swarming his icing! (No worries, these are those ones that don’t sting and don’t cause allergic reactions!)
I’m a bit partial to the bear with his tongue out… I couldn’t imagine why….. LOL. Sorry about the glowing eyes, he was waiting for his toy to be thrown and wouldn’t cooperate! And yes, he ALWAYS has his tongue out! If you really wanna know why, I’ll try to post that sometime. It’s a sad, pitiful, and hilarious story of the TatorBug journey!
Their website is just as adorable! They have a cute little game, aimed towards little ones. It’s not educational, but it will help hand/eye coordination! Oh, and probably drive your indoor pets crazy! LOL. Mine were giving me the ‘look.’
Anyway, you HAVE to go and get one for your little one! They have a special going on Special Offer: Buy (4) or more Petcakes® Collectibles plush toys and receive the PetCakes® Collectibles Minis – 4 pack FREE you only pay an additional $1.99 shipping and handling. So, as far as I’m concerned, that’s at LEAST three birthday presents and one for Mommy! 😀 The town we live in is lame so you can’t send stuff to the kids at school, but I’m seeing the little guy in a cellophane bag, along with some candy and a balloon! BAM! You’ll be making someone’s day!!! You could even go educational, adding a book about the animal! See, so many options!
Okay, I’m done with my birthday ideas for now… Of course…. There is always Valentine’s day….. Or get well stuff…. OOOoooh…. Good job surprises…. Okay, really, I’m done!

If you were able to catch my review of the Squirrel Proof Feeder, then you already know all about why I love watching the birds. So many wonderful memories of sitting on my Granny’s lap and watching them come and eat, play and even nest! I love thinking about those times and seeing the birds come to my feeders brings a smile to my heart every time. Though cardinals were my Granny’s favorite, on occasion we had a hummingbird or two visit. Hummingbirds were special because they didn’t come often and they brought new colors to her front yard. Her house was way out in the country so there were no other feeders close to bring more.
Not too long ago, I purchased a recipe box at an estate sale. It was packed full of recipes and a beautiful vintage box circa 1960’s I think. It was filled with magazine recipe cutouts, recipe cards from a bank that no longer exists in our area and (my favorite) handwritten recipes. One of those handwritten recipes was one for Hummingbird food. So, when I received the Perky-Pet Red Hobnail Vintage Hummingbird feeder I was understandably stoked for so many reasons! Of course, I had to share it all with you!
Hey everyone! If you are ever in need of a quick sweet snack, you’ll wanna try Shirley J’s awesome Muggings! Not only are her mugs adorable, the mixes are super tasty too! We’ve tried all the ones pictured, not all at once though we did run out way too quickly… Well, all except those two that I may or may not have ‘forgotten’ back for a ZooKeeper Pick Me Up Day! These are great to have on hand for a quick snack, easy dessert or just a good sweet fix! I think they’d be amazing gifts for college students too! You can add things to the mixes or enjoy them as they come, either way you are gonna love having these on hand! There are plenty of ‘in a mug’ recipes online, but I don’t think they hold a candle to these! My absolute favorite was the Chocolate Brownie Cake! I added some peanut butter chips to it and was in a momentary heaven on earth for a bit! It hit the spot, that’s for sure!
We really loved the mugs, too. Santa’s Mustache was quickly Monkey’s favorite and I am a sucker for a snowflake! They are huge, so they’ve also become my favorite coffee cups as well! Perfect for hot chocolate! With all the mugging going on, it will be your new favorite
baking mugging dish! A quick couple of minutes in the microwave and you’ve got a piping hot cobbler, cake or even no-pan pancake ready to go! They have one recipe that is gluten free also! I’ve noticed lately that gluten free is getting quite big these days!
Let me just say, if I can get Monkey to type her thoughts on something, it must be good! Writing is not her favorite thing, nor does she want to excel at it. LOL. So, to show you how wonderful she thought they were, here’s what she wrote:
The “Shirley J ‘S Mugging” ‘chocolate brownie cake’ was a very tasty treat. It actually tasted like a hot chocolate cake. It could be baked a little bit more but thats the only problem i had. i added some white chocolate chips and they added some gooeyness. I suggest to get some icing for regular cakes and putting it on the brownie cake.
And it was good it had a profound taste and I felt like I was eating at a fancy restaurant!
