Resources for Easter, Home school, Sunday School and More
As a child, Easter was one of my absolute favorite holidays! Not only did I wake up to an Easter basket, but the whole family would go to church and then the entire extended family would all go to my Granny and Grandpa’s!
I got to see and play with my cousin’s, got plenty of love from the Auntie’s, and would have a genuinely fantastic day! Nowadays, Granny and Grandpa are gone. The family doesn’t gather on that side anymore. We literally do nothing. It’s sad and I miss it.
So, to help my nieces and nephews celebrate (we are spread out across the country), I send out cards and let them know we love them. I usually include some stickers, a habit I started because I had some laying around and now if I don’t send the stickers the kids are upset. Even the older ones. LOL
This year, I’ve come across these adorable pop-up Easter tracts and I’m thinking of getting enough to send all of the nieces and nephews one. I’m on the fence, there are nearly 30 of them! Whether I do or not, I definitely suggest checking out these adorable Easter tracts! Whether it be for your kids, grand-kids, or students they will be well received!
The Easter Tract is an adorable pop-up story about three friends looking for a lost Easter egg. I think every family has had that at least once: an Easter egg that doesn’t get found….
Well, at least not until it is quite ripe and is making someone have a very bad day (that got Easter egg hunts banned from indoors in my family). In this story though, no rotten egg occurs, rather the 3 friends learn a much more important lesson.
Children will love the pop up story, especially the interaction that goes along with being read to or reading to others. At the end of the story, there are questions you can use to continue the lesson with the little ones.
From what I’ve seen, they have been very well received by kindergarten and first graders! I think this is perfect for your Easter basket this year!
