Jane Green Book Party
Jane Green Book Party was fabulous! The books were awesome but, even more so, the company was amazing! We enjoyed our time together and loved her books! It was much calmer than our Disney Party, I think it helped that we didn’t have any little ones this time! *giggles*
We had an amazing time having a Jane Green House Party! The ladies and I enjoyed discussing Tempting Fate and are looking forward to having a follow up party to discuss Another Piece of My Heart. We had questions and trivia to go along with the book and the conversation quickly divulged into life experiences. It’s absolutely fantastic to have a group of women discuss their various life events in a happy and relatable way.
Of course, if you would rather make them from scratch, there are some great cookie recipe on our recipes page. I’d recommend using the 7 Cookies in 1 Recipe so that you can do one big batch and have multiple types of cookies.
Party Goodies
Parties just wouldn’t be complete without goodies, so each guest took home a copy of Jane Green’s Another Piece of My Heart, a Tempting Fate Sampler, recipe cards and a ‘Mix and Mingle Key Lime Margarita Mix! I just can’t wait to get together again!
Sending out a special thank you for my friends that could make it! For those who were ill or unable to come, you missed a great time! Definitely one of our more fun ‘adulting’ times! It’s adult to have a book party, right? Maybe we should have called it a ‘Book Club Meeting’ to make it sound more ‘adult’. Then again, there aren’t a whole lot of kids that would have any interest in a book party, I think including the word book means we’re safe!
