I have had the most awesome opportunity to review and experiment with Three Sisters Apothecary and the results of their Soap Cauldron. I cannot tell you how excited I was when the shipment came!

Moisturize Your Beautiful Skin With 3 Sisters @Crafty_Z00Small Business Gold

By now, you should all know that I absolutely love small businesses! There’s nothing like handmade products. Mass produced items are never as fantastic. Ever! Three Sisters Apothecary is actually two sister and a daughter. Which I also love! There is nothing more important than family. These three beautiful women make their bath and skin care products by hand with natural ingredients and totally cruelty free. They even have soaps for our furbabies!

They do their best to have a minimal carbon footprint and I can attest that their packaging was probably the best I’ve seen in a while. The only plastic was that used to tape the box, seal the canister and for the ‘window’ in one product. Plus, their cauldron is cut out of the cardboard the soap is in to show the soap, it is absolutely adorable. I love the small touches they put into their packaging. You can read all about them on their Meet the Makers page. I challenge you to read that page and not be over the moon to try all of their products!

One of my favorite things is that I could read the ingredients (no giant what the heck words) and knew what each and every one was! Try doing that with commercial grade soaps. It’s impossible! That was initially, once I began using the products their ability to moisturize blew me out of the water!

Their hand soap that not only does an amazing job to moisturize your skin, it leaves your hands clean. Definitely going to be stoking up for all of the bathrooms and the kitchen sink in our home. With the addition of the coconut milk, it’s ability to moisturize dry, ashy skin is amazing and completely appreciated.

Moisturize Your Beautiful Skin

Coastal Cedar and Elemi

According to their site: “Cedar has a warm, balsamic and woody scent with key actives that supports healthy oil balance on both face and body.” It utilizes the same coastal cedar used in Native Americans for calming, itching relief and dryness. In the Bath & Body Gift Tote Trio, it is the only one that comes with Muscle Relief Rub instead of Body Butter. Since I’ve been working out and such, I was super grateful for the muscle rub. Yes, it does bring relief! It also smells so wonderful! The smell of it reminds me of when we had real Christmas trees as a child, cut down fresh out of the woods. While all of the products moisturize, I also feel like it will open up the nasal cavities.

Moisturize Your Beautiful Skin

Rose and Coconut with Shea Butter

You may have read some of my stories about growing up in a flower shop and I can honestly say this is the closest I’ve ever been to that smell outside of being in the shop itself. In this particular potion, rose essential oil is combined with coconut milk, botanicals and Shea Butter. In the Gift Set, there is Lip Soother, Bar Soap, Hand Soap and Body Butter! If anyone wants to smell roses, or smell like roses, this is the set for you! I do have to admit I have mixed feelings about the lip soother because my lips feel amazing but I don’t love the taste of roses… Of course then again, my lips have been chapped for a solid week and one coat of the lip balm is all it took to moisturize them back to normal!

The body butter! It will seriously moisturize very dry skin. At first, it seems oily but once it soaks in (took less than five minutes), your skin will be amazingly smooth. Totally impressed here!

In Summation

I have emphasized how much it will moisturize skin, so it seems necessary to also add that while it does an amazing job of it your skin doesn’t feel oily after. Instead, it is soft and smooth. I refuse to use the cliche ‘smooth as a baby’s butt’ because honestly I’ve had felt (not in a creeper way) the smooth skin of a baby and truly feel nothing comes close to that. What I will say, is it brings back a very youthful, smooth skin without being oily.

I love that they use the word Apothecary. 🙂 I don’t feel like we hear that enough.

    • I completely agree! I find it interesting that a hundred years ago, proper words were used but today we dumb everything down. It’s sad.

I love that the products are both handmade and that they attempt to reduce the carbon footprint. I’m excited to try their handsoap because my hands get so dry in the winter and I never seem to find a soap that is non drying.
