Every kid needs a playground in their backyard right? When I was growing up, we had the woods so there was no need for other outside playthings. Of course, that was also a time when parents weren’t quite so worried about kiddos getting hurt every time they did something. I remember solo cliff climbing, playing with Texas Longhorns, and exploring the woods quite a bit!

As an adult though, I live in town and the kids can’t go running off into the woods. I can’t always go to the park and sometimes we all need the little ones to go and play! When it’s pretty, I hate making them play inside. Having the Young Explorer’s Adventure Climber in the backyard allows them to go out and get busy!

The kiddos can stay busy for hours and truly be Young Explorer’s! There’s a ladder, crawl spaces, a steering wheel, a slide and even doors! This is certainly what every toddler in the climbing stage needs! From ages 1 ½ to 6, little ones can stay active and busy without Mommy & Daddy having to worry!

Our grandson has been having an absolute blast playing on it! The designers at Simplay3 seem to know a lot about how to build something that kid’s happy and keep them safe!

It’s kept a precocious little boy out of things, which is always a plus! It didn’t take him long to find new ways to play on it, the slide has been most fun with toys and such!

Simplay3 Young Explorers Adventure ClimberPutting it together…

I’ll be open and honest with you, Monkey and I were not able to put it together. This could very well be due to our lack of skill at both following instructions and reading diagrams. In this respect, we’re terrible!

However, Chief and son-in-law were able to take apart what we incorrectly assembled and put it together properly in a fairly quick amount of time. One will need a screwdriver (we used an electric one) and a hammer to assemble it, but that’s all.

Well, those and some sort of skill set better than that of myself and Monkey!

Durability…

It’s really stable, so much so that I can flip it on it’s side to rinse it off with no problems at all. Everything is snapped into it’s place then properly screwed down so nothing moves out of where it belongs.

While I haven’t dared put my big self’s weight on it, I’m also pretty sure it would hold. I especially appreciate that it has areas where the raid can drain out of it so that we won’t be having a big wet mess after every rainfall. However, I’m not looking forward to when it’s too cold to play outside and he stares longingly through the window!

My educational background is in Psychology and Child Development but my heart is in ministry, crafts, fun, reviews and my website, My Crafty Zoo. Or at least it was, now I'm learning who I really am, beneath all of the busy family life. It's an adventure to be sure. This would keep my 2 youngest kids busy for hours. I love how it is more gender neutral colors since one of my youngest is a girl and the other is a boy. My kids love using chalk and making up their own games outside or using their bubble machine.
