I like that there are so many freezer meals included in the book. My son wants to start making meals he can freeze and have ready when he gets home from practice.

This looks like a great cookbook that would be very helpful for make ahead cooking. As for a tip, I purchased some inexpensive plastic containers from Amazon that are great for individual portions of make ahead cooking, lunches, and/or leftovers. They stack inside each other so they don’t take much space in your cabinets.

We use to have a local place where you would pay a set amount of money and you would make so many meals. For the life of me, I can’t remember the name of the place but we would always go as a girl’s day and make abt a month’s worth of meals. They closed up about 4 years ago, and we sure do miss it. It was nice going and pulling the meals together without having to clean up.

One of my main goals this year is to eat Healthy more-and less eating out. This would be a great start. I know we have all the recipes we need at our finger tips but nothing beats reading a cookbook and getting your hands dirty while looking.

This book looks so great to learn how to do make ahead food. We have my son who eats gluten free he has Celiacs disease. Being able to make our meals with regular pasta and his with gf pasta would help me out . Learning how to do the package for later would be great. I need these ideas in the book to help me create these meals

Make ahead meals are great, seeing as I am disabled and live alone. On days I feel bad I can just grab a meal from the freezer.

I really think I ‘need’ to start to do make ahead meals. Although there are only 2 of us now — it’s harder and harder each day to decide what to cook, if I have the ingredients, etc. This would make the choices easier each evening and I am all for that!

Pasta is awesome! Love the party tip. Even though I am 70 years old I am new to cooking. My hubby who passed away in 2016 was always my chef

My pasta tip is to always slightly undercook your pasta, then give it a minute or two in your sauce so it can absorb it and finish cooking. Much more depth of flavor this way.

I love the idea of make-ahead meals. After working all day, I’d love to come home and not have to pep a whole meal. We eat dinner together every night as a family, and this would be a time-saver.
    Thank you!

Love make ahead for when we get crazy busy or lazy.
I like your tip for a party.
My one tip I like is also make ahead for the week using canning jars and so easy.
One is steel cut oats…assemble and refrigerate overnight every morning for the next 5 to 7 days and you have breakfast on the go.
I do the same with salad layers dressing on bottom so as to not get soggy.
    Hope these help.
