For many years I operated a specialty Cleaning business …only using natural, aromatherapy cleaning products that I made in my home. The process to make the cleaning products I used successfully for many years in homes & businesses is simple & cost effective. I’m happy to be here today to share a couple of Aromatherapy Cleaning Recipes for you to try as you tackle your Spring cleaning! {aromatherapy is the use of essential oils}

The first one I’m going to share with you is my recipe for an All Purpose Cleaner:

All Purpose Bathroom & Kitchen Cleaner

The Aromatherapy Cleaning Company Training Manual

Ingredients:
1tsp Borax (this can be found in the laundry section of your supermarket)
½ teaspoon liquid detergent (any natural dish soap)
¼ cup Vinegar
2 cups hot water
10-20 drops of essential oil of your choice. (Orange or Lavender are favorites)

How to use: Combine in a spray bottle and shake. Spray on counter surfaces, sinks, tubs
etc..and wipe clean. This is an excellent product to use on shower doors that have a lot of soap scum.
Spray doors, wipe, and follow with glass cleaner.

The second cleaning recipe is for my lovely Floor Cleaner:

Disinfecting and Uplifting Floor Cleaner

Combine the following in large container:
1-gallon bucket of warm water
A very small squeeze of liquid castile soap
10 drops of lemon essential oil
4 drops tea tree essential oil

If you haven’t made to switch yet to using all natural cleaning products – try one of these recipes out this year for your spring cleaning. I guarantee you will never go back to using chemical cleaners again!
