I Can Only Imagine! Have you seen it yet?

I Can Only Imagine

The song I Can Only Imagine seems to have gotten so popular that most people have heard it at one time or another, whether on purpose or just hearing it in passing.  They’ve now turned the song into a movie!

In theaters March of 2018, the song so many has come to love will be brought to life on the big screen!  For me, the song makes my heart wish for that time, but I know that I have to wait and do good until then.  All too often I long for the day to meet our Father, but even more so to be reunited with my baby girl.

I’ll be honest and say that since we lost her, I can’t listen to that song (or most) anymore, my heart yearns and aches to a point beyond what I can tolerate and still be able to function.  I suppose that was a pointless side track, but that’s my prerogative.

Back on point, check out the description below.  The film seems to be a lot like many of the Christian movies that have come out in the past few years.  There are only two that stand out to me as different and I highly recommend them: Mom’s Night Out and The War Room.

Perhaps the hometown football story line is up your alley, I know a lot of people who will absolutely love this film.  I’m fairly certain my entire family will be buying tickets in advance to see the film.

Then probably pre-ordering it as well.  Just as the song will grip anyone’s heart strings, the film is sure to do so as well.

As a side note, if you love the song (or just see potential in the lyrics), check out Tamala Mann’s version.  That woman has the most amazing voice and can bring you to your knees and your heart to the feet of Jesus.  She truly has a gift!

I Can Only Imagine

Although he found faith at a young age, life wasn’t easy for Bart. He leaned into an active imagination and his love of music as escapes from a troubled home life.

As he grew older, Bart turned to football in hopes of somehow connecting with his abusive father. But a career-ending injury—combined with the vision of a teacher who saw unlimited potential—set Bart on a musical pathway.

Chasing a dream while running from broken relationships with his father and Shannon, his childhood sweetheart, Bart hits the road in an old, decrepit tour bus with his new band MercyMe—named for his grandmother’s favorite expression.

With the guidance of a grizzled music-industry insider, the band begins a journey none of them could ever have imagined.

Kaycee

Hi all! My name is Kaycee. I am now learning to navigate life as a single woman. Turns out, it's not all about husband and children. Who knew? So, I'm on a journey of self discovery. I have 5 children, 3 of which are married, 5 2 are in Heaven (my beautiful baby Acadia Reign and my Diva Princess Tara Elizabeth), and 7 grandchildren! Plus, a ton of fabulous nieces and nephews! My educational background is in Psychology and Child Development but my heart is in ministry, crafts, fun, reviews and my website, My Crafty Zoo. Or at least it was, now I'm learning who I really am, beneath all of the busy family life. It's an adventure to be sure. I look forward to continuing to share my life through word and pictures with you and love hearing your feedback! Thank you for taking the time to read and allowing me to share! I look forward to reading your comments!

I haven’t seen it still, but I’ve heard so much about his story that I feel like I’ve seen it. I’m sure I’ll see it eventually. I have to be in a certain mood to watch such deep dramas.
