Difference Between Surviving & Getting Through #everymilemattered #flyby

The Nichole Nordeman may be my anthem for a while.  A great reminder, one which literally sings a reminder that while things may not be fabulous, we are making it.  I don’t know if I am in a place for all of her music to speak to me, but Every Mile Mattered by Nichole Nordeman is just the album for where I am right at this moment.  A bit of inspiration, without any message being thrown in my face, just a selection of songs that remind us to go on, that we aren’t doing terribly.  To be honest, I can’t listen to prosperity Christian music anymore.  If you think God won’t allow us to carry more than we can bare, you’ve clearly been very lucky because I promise you, He will.  One might argue that I’ve gotten through, or am getting through, but those people don’t know the difference between surviving and living.  As a survivor, I carry more than I can bare each and every day, pulling me down to the depths of sorrow by things I didn’t even know were there.  Yet I go on, usually at something resembling an army crawl, because I have no choice.  He gave me more than I could bare, I don’t know what He has in store next but I’m still breathing.

I definitely recommend checking out Nichole Nordeman, especially if you are like me and are drowning under the burden.  We have to do whatever we can to keep moving, giving up is not an option.

Kaycee

Hi all! My name is Kaycee. I am now learning to navigate life as a single woman. Turns out, it's not all about husband and children. Who knew? So, I'm on a journey of self discovery. I have 5 children, 3 of which are married, 5 2 are in Heaven (my beautiful baby Acadia Reign and my Diva Princess Tara Elizabeth), and 7 grandchildren! Plus, a ton of fabulous nieces and nephews! My educational background is in Psychology and Child Development but my heart is in ministry, crafts, fun, reviews and my website, My Crafty Zoo. Or at least it was, now I'm learning who I really am, beneath all of the busy family life. It's an adventure to be sure. I look forward to continuing to share my life through word and pictures with you and love hearing your feedback! Thank you for taking the time to read and allowing me to share! I look forward to reading your comments!
