Puzzling Fun & the Puzzling Spring Giveaway

Puzzling Spring Adventures going on around here! We’re busting out some puzzles to keep us busy  on those rainy days! No need for cleaning, right? ha!

Puzzling Spring Adventures with @Ravensburger

It’s been a while since we did any puzzles and the chance to review some seemed exciting! There’s something relaxing about putting together a puzzle. Which is odd because it’s also challenging and, sometimes, a little frustrating. But, right when you wanna scream, that piece you’ve been searching for suddenly pops out and you can be on your way to the next piece! So refreshing!

Sharing the fun puzzling puzzles that are our current and future adventures! We hope to do lots more in the coming months! We turned on some awesome music, gathered up some finger foods, and enjoyed each others company. It was a great night!

Puzzling Spring Adventures: 3D London Bus PuzzleI had always wanted to put together a 3D puzzle but, being totally real, was too chicken that I’d stink at it. So, obviously I was super excited when the chance arose to put this baby together! The 3D London Bus Puzzle was super fun to put together. I was also nervous about being able to build it, as I’m not a builder in any way. But the awesome instructions enabled me to successfully build the awesome puzzle, almost entirely on my own.

Now, being real, I cheated. A lot. According to the husband anyway. There are numbers on the back of the pieces and a set of photo instructions. Being real, I honestly thought you were supposed to use the numbers. Of course, once he spit out his argument, I realized I was wrong. So, did it for a while without the numbers. Then I went back because it was so peaceful to simply put it together.

So, yeah, I cheated.

We also received the fantastically gorgeous Disney’s Cinderella Jigsaw Puzzle (1000 Piece) from Ravensburger. The image is from the 1950’s version. We’ve not started this one yet, but can’t wait to do so! It’s stunningly gorgeous! Part of me is tempted to put it away with my Disney collection… we shall see. It is a Collector’s Edition, after all. The puzzle is part of a series of puzzles that include Snow White (1937), Bambi (1942), Fantasia (1940) and Dumbo (1941).
