Beautiful Word NIV Coloring Bible for girls may be one of my favorite gifts ever! I really don’t know why these types of Bibles weren’t around when I was a kid, but I wish they were! Of course, Not having one did not stop me from making notes and having little drawings throughout my Bible but mane it would have been awesome to have one of these!

My Thoughts of This NIV Bible for Girls
When I opened the box, there was an immediate love for the cover. It almost feels like a leather but running my fingernail across it didn’t even leave a trail mark. I absolutely love the design and the color, but you can make that judgement from the photo. One can also see the colored pencils which look more like retractable crayons to me. It comes with red, yellow, blue and purple colored pencils.
Just inside the cover are the stickers. Many of which can be colored. They are designed quite similar to the word art in Hand Lettered Truth and are very beautiful! Throughout the entire Bible are beautiful word art that can be colored and lines on the sides of the pages to write notes or draw on. I absolutely love anything that can inspire time spent in the Bible because no matter what we are doing, it is never time wasted!
That Age Thing…
There are some websites that suggest this Bible for girls 8-12, however I disagree wholeheartedly. I feel like this Bible is perfect for older girls. Honestly, I’d be thrilled to have one for myself. We can just guess that I am well past the age of 12. I think this Bible would be best for girls a little older that are into art and drawing. If your girl is more into journaling, then you’ll be more more interested in this Journaling Bible. (Admittedly that post needs edited, don’t judge!)
If you choose to get this for a teenager, especially if they are in that ‘I’m not a kid’ phase, I recommend taking it out of the box and putting the Beautiful Word Bible, pencils and stickers in a gift bag. Or even better, a coloring Bible bag! That way, they don’t see the kidz BIBLES logo right off. haha. Throw in a set of no-bleed pens and they’ll be ecstatic!
