Emerson Creek Pottery Review

Hey everyone!!!  I don’t know if you’ve checked out where your stuff is made these days, but it is getting rarer and rarer to have any North American labels on things!  I rarely see anything made in the USA anymore, and it’s even more of a rarity for me to see anything made in Canada!

Emerson Creek Pottery Review

Today, I’ve got these wonderful little loaf pans to review for you which were made right here in the US by Emerson Creek Pottery!  They are made in Bedford, Virginia and each piece is stamped with the company name, location, and year on them!

Emerson Creek has been hand making pottery since 1977 in VA and makes all types of amazing pottery!  I was fortunate to be able to review one of their loaf pans and I just loved it!!!  It’s dimensions are 3x5x3 and it is the perfect size for making loaves of bread to give to friends for the holidays!

I had never baked in hand made pottery before, so I was a little nervous but it turned out so well!  Much better than in a glass loaf pan, if for no other reason than nostalgia alone!  Of course, there isn’t any special way to cook in it, but it sure seemed like something special when I was making it!  LOL.  Nothing like old fashioned, hand made ceramic cookware!!!  I really loved the way it turned out and it was super easy to clean!

Kaycee

Hi all! My name is Kaycee. I am now learning to navigate life as a single woman. Turns out, it's not all about husband and children. Who knew? So, I'm on a journey of self discovery. I have 5 children, 3 of which are married, 5 2 are in Heaven (my beautiful baby Acadia Reign and my Diva Princess Tara Elizabeth), and 7 grandchildren! Plus, a ton of fabulous nieces and nephews! My educational background is in Psychology and Child Development but my heart is in ministry, crafts, fun, reviews and my website, My Crafty Zoo. Or at least it was, now I'm learning who I really am, beneath all of the busy family life. It's an adventure to be sure. I look forward to continuing to share my life through word and pictures with you and love hearing your feedback! Thank you for taking the time to read and allowing me to share! I look forward to reading your comments!
