School Planner Up-do

We all know how important organization is for success.  I am very strict on Monkey about keeping track of her assignments in a calendar so that she can be more successful in keeping track of her work.  I am also, as we all know and to my Monkey’s total aggravation, a cheapskate!!!  (We decided on frugal, didn’t we?  That’s right, I’m FRUGAL!!!)  SO, at Dollar Tree, they have planners for $1.  I live out of mine!  She really wanted one of the pretty ones, but they cost way too much, so I decided to personalize hers on my own!  So, I put her name on it and used my Xyron Sticker Maker to stick it on, then covered it in contact paper.  Unfortunately, my contact paper got bent up, so it has a few creases.  I’m going to just pretend it was decorative!!!  LOL.  Here is the project!

Please excuse the black spot, my camera or lens or something has began to hate me, so it left a lovely little dot.  🙁

On the outside of the contact paper, I put various stickers (all with a common theme).

Hi all! My name is Kaycee. I live in Arkansas with my husband of over 15 years! We have a grown daughter, a son-in-love and 2 grandson. Just love being Nonna! We also have an angel waiting on us to join her one day, she was 11 months old when she went to Heaven. We also have two great Chihuahuas and a Great Dane, along with several fish in our koi pond. My educational background is in Psychology and Child Development but my heart is in ministry, crafts, fun, reviews and my website, My Crafty Zoo. I look forward to continuing to share my life through word and pictures with you and love hearing your feedback! Thank you for taking the time to read and allowing me to share! I look forward to reading your comments!
