Vintage Hoodie Style: Warm Winter Wishes & Lugz Hoodie Giveaway
A vintage hoodie is probably the most featured in my cold weather fashion collection. I probably have way too many hoodies and most have aged to be allowed the name ‘vintage hoodie.’ So, when I saw the Lugz Vintage Hoodie, I was over the moon!
Varsity Logo Hoodie
The Lugz Varsity Logo Hoodie is the absolute best vintage hoodie I’ve come across in a while. It is a classic style that we all know and love, complete with the varsity lettering. The logo is sewn on the front just as the letters would be sewn onto a varsity jacket in chenille letters and that little detail is fabulous!
The hoodie really earns it’s stripes as a vintage hoodie by using the colors from the letters as for the inside of the hood and strings. They also have the lines around the bottom and on each of the sleeves. The perfect details to complete the vintage hoodie look!
It’s made of 80% cotton and 20% polyester and is super soft on the inside, it’s also really warm. Definitely would have been great for football games!
They have three different colors so that you can get your vintage hoodie to match your style. There are three designs: Black Heather, Oatmeal Heather and Wheat Heather. Every vintage hoodie is gorgeous and it’s super hard to choose just one!
Black Heather, which is what is featured in the photo, was my first favorite vintage hoodie. The material is a dark grey with maroon chenille letters. Oatmeal Heather is an oatmeal color with golden brown chenille letters and Wheat Heather is a dark tan with orange varsity letters.
Each of the hoodies have the pocket on the front, as every vintage hoodie should!
A Little Note:
Since they are marketed as men’s hoodies, I was under the mistaken assumption that they would run larger as men’s clothing often do. I was very much wrong. They are true to size for unisex clothing. So, if you wear an XL t-shirt, you’ll probably need the XL hoodie. Of course, if you like your hoodie to be a little big so that you can layer then go a size up.
Get the Boots!
Every vintage hoodie ensemble must be complete with your favorite pair of jeans and the perfect winter boots! We’ve reviewed a ton of Lugz boots and are loving so many of their styles! I can’t recommend just one pair, but you can choose your favorites and mix and match! Lugz boots are long lasting, warm and leave you with dry feet! I frequently wear my Mallards and work in my Thetas! However, my winter favorite are the statement making Empire High CRs! So, in conclusion: get multiple styles! You won’t regret it!

It is nice to see that the Lugz has started making new apparel! For cold time I prefer hoodie any other clothes. This one looks vety cozy)
I agree completely! Hoodie’s are the best! When I actually do make it to the gym, I prefer to workout in my hoodie! Easy pockets and extra heat! lol. They are super cozy for sure!

The WOMEN’S SPRIG CHUKKA BOOT looks wonderful and comfortable. To be able to say sneakers and warmth andthese look like they would be able to keep you warm in the winter.
I like their Convoy Fur Boot in Black. They will go with anything and look toasty warm!

I love Lugz shoes as they are comfy and the sweaters look very comfy. I didn’t know they were getting into appearal.

These hoodies are the kind of clothing that we wear here in the Windy City!! These types of hoodies are exactly the type they wear. My grandson wears it under his outer coat. That way he can put his hood up when it gets colder. And it will especially when he goes out with his wet head!

My son needs a comfortable work boot, which he has never had. So the Lutz work boot 6″ with steel toes would be my choice for him to try do to the review recommendation.
Lugz has always been a tried and true reliable brand. I only need to replace my very used boots every few years and mostly for style or color change, not for ruggedness!
I like how warm and comfortable they look. My favorite is the dark grey.
