Veggie Tales: The Little House That Stood DVD Review

VeggieTalesVeggie Tales has done yet another awesome movie with The Little House That Stood.  Spinning off of the classic Grimm’s Tale ‘The Three Little Pigs’, The Little House That Stood is an adorable film.  It’s enough of a story change to leave even the grown ups entertained!  Well, at least it kept me entertained!  The songs are, as always, super adorable and leaves you singing along in a good mood!  I am still overwhelmingly loving the lessons that Veggie Tales instills in our children!  There are, of course, new lessons to be learned in this video too!
About The Little House That Stood
When the Three Little Pigs roll into Cabbageville looking to build some new houses, they meet one builder with a plan and two without a clue! Larry builds with hay, Mr. Lunt with bricks, but only Bob builds his houses on a firm foundation – following the wise plans from the Master Builder’s Handbook! Will the Little Piggies make the right choices when it comes to building their houses – and their lives – on solid ground? Find out in this parable that shows kids when they follow God’s blueprints, then can stand strong when the storms come!

Kaycee

Hi all! My name is Kaycee. I live in Arkansas with my husband of over 15 years! We have a grown daughter, a son-in-love and 2 grandson. Just love being Nonna! We also have an angel waiting on us to join her one day, she was 11 months old when she went to Heaven. We also have two great Chihuahuas and a Great Dane, along with several fish in our koi pond. My educational background is in Psychology and Child Development but my heart is in ministry, crafts, fun, reviews and my website, My Crafty Zoo. I look forward to continuing to share my life through word and pictures with you and love hearing your feedback! Thank you for taking the time to read and allowing me to share! I look forward to reading your comments!

We love Veggie Tales! I have given these DVDs and books to my grandkids as gifts for a long time now. These books will help them learn about Jesus, because they will need him for the rest of their lives! He will never leave them! I pinned this. Thank you for sharing!! ?

I love the Veggies Tales and hav given their DVDs and books to my grandkids for their birthdays and holidays. I don’t give them candy and baskets for Easter anymore. I woke up and realized these things have nothing to with Jesus’ resurrection! As a matter of fact, the devil is trying to take our children’s attention away from Jesus with goodies that they love. This was pin worthy! Thank you for sharing these life saving DVDs!!

The theme song, ’cause I do like to talk to tomatoes—and a squash can make me smile!

I spent my 43rd birthday at Veggie Tales Live in October!

We like that one that goes “the first day in the first grade, the second day in the second grade”. Can’t remember what it’s called.
