@Woolzies Dryer Balls Review

woolziesFrom the Company

Woolzies are 100% pure new zealand wool dryer balls that do everything that conventional fabric softeners do plus they reduce drying time by 25%. They are money back guaranteed to last for at least 1,000 loads!
Woolzies have no chemicals at all and are also hypoallergenic so are safe even for people with wool sensitivities.

My Thoughts

I’ve really enjoyed using Woolzies.  They have been a great addition.  I make my own laundry soap (or use a Robby Ball) and don’t like to spend the extra money on fabric softeners so these have really helped with the static in my dryer.  In addition, I have noticed the dryer time has been cut down, which is nice on the electric bill!!!  The only down side is that there is no scent, but then that’s probably not bad for everyone!  😀  We were already adding crystals to our wash, so it’s not a deal breaker for us.

I do probably 2-3 loads of laundry per day, so if I were using traditional dryer sheets that would be about 30 cents per day.  The basic package of Woolzies is $34.95 which means I would need to use it for 350 loads in order to break even.  This would take approximately 116 days.  Therefore, I would recoup my money in that amount and the dryer balls are said to last up to 1000 loads.  A deal that works for me!  😀
