Just a Drop Product Review

Just a Drop In Toilet 3 Scents

My Thoughts

When I first saw this product, my honest reaction was doubt.  I seriously doubted that it would work.  Period.  But I figured I’m up for trying it so off we go!  I’m not going to go into too much gory detail, but I will say I have no gallbladder and therefore cannot process fats and carbs and my husband has an intestinal issue.  This product was a much needed thing!  Fans take too long!  LOL.

This is how Just a Drop works, you drop one solitary little tiny drop in the toilet before you utilize it (trying to be as polite as possible, LOL).  It coats the water so that the smells stay in the water!   The one we tried out had a Eucalyptus smell to it and you could smell it in the bathroom until you flushed.  Chief Zoo Keeper wasn’t found of the scent, but they have other scents.

Khroma Herbal Products

Khroma Herbal Products have completely vegan, organic, not packaged in plastic, and contain no artificial ingredients. We are excited to share with you!

Khroma Herbal Products Giveaway Ends Feb 15

Given that there are chemicals in almost everything these days, it’s nice to find products that don’t have unnecessary side effects from those potentially harmful ingredients.  Having had the chance to try the ones above, we will be sharing our thoughts and results to better help you in your search for amazing products!  One must point out that

A Little About Khroma Herbal Products

Their slogan being: “From Nature, with Love” is absolutely awesome to me!  Being a nature loving person, it totally vibes with me!  Their homepage is also beautiful, in my humble opinion!.  They have a pretty great product line, including the ones listed below, they also have lip gloss, an energy blend, a happy blend (to uplift moods), Hair Skin & Nail blend, inflammation, digestive and circulation blends, just to name a few!

Khroma was founded by Connor & Renee Southworth in an effort to truly incorporate quality and ethics with great products.  They have added to their team and are keeping a people first drive with their business.  All of their products are ethically sourced, so I feel it is safe to say that they are taking their ethics and beliefs beyond just the human race, but to the whole ecosystem as well.  Being a very big animal and environmental lover, this company lines up with a way of thinking that I can completely line up with!

Herbal Products I Tried

Little Warrior Organic Children’s Immunity Blend: This is a blend of herbs formulated for children with no alcohol.  It’s made to taste good so that the kids will like it.  We tried it out on 3 children, ages 10, 4 and 2 1/2.  The older children are in school and exposed to all kinds of germs, which they love bringing home to the heart baby.  Regardless, they did seem to like it.  With the flu being so crazy right now, it didn’t prevent the virus but it did help them get better a lot faster than they have in the past.

Banja Balm Organic Pain Relieving Rub: A vegan, organic muscle rub.  It’s very strong and works well on sore muscles.  A friend borrowed it and I had to fight to get it back.  haha.  Overall, it works wonderfully to ease the pain of sore muscles.  The friend that used it had muscles sore from work (lifting, bending, pulling) and absolutely loved it.  I used it on a very tight and angry neck and had good results as well.

Baby Smile Organic Rash Cream: Our children are exposed to so many additives and chemicals, I love that this one is free of all of those things!  With various natural items such as chamomile, coconut oil, lavendar, this rash cream brings just what baby needs: healing!  The only thing I don’t like is that it has coconut oil, which isn’t good for cloth diapers.  So if you are a crunchy mama, be sure and use liners!

Khroma has generously provided this prize and will be responsible for shipment!  Good luck!

We want to give a huge shout out and thank you to our hosts:

Noxicare Natural Pain Relief Cream Review

My Mom is disabled, she has had many injuries and therefore has a lot of muscle, bone and joint pain.  She takes some pretty strong pain relievers but they aren’t enough to really help.  Among her problems, she has had multiple back, neck and knee surgeries.
The Point
I had Mom test the Noxicare cream out.  I needed to know if it really worked on some strong pain, and….  well….  she’s got plenty of that.
The Test
Mom used it for 2 weeks, well it is going to be longer because she is officially not giving it back now but that’s okay.  When asked how it was, she immediately brightened and spoke all kinds of good words about it.  She stated that it helps with the muscle stiffness and pain in her neck as well as in her knee.  She said it does wonders!
The ‘Skinny’  (Taken from their product description)
Noxicare™ Natural Pain Relief is a breakthrough natural, patented pain relief formula that is a proprietary combination of 7 of the world’s most potent natural pain relievers that quickly and effectively alleviate inflammation, muscle aches and nerve pain—with NO known side effects and without a prescription.
The Cost
Umm….  Well….  a 3.5 oz bottle of cream will run you about 26.95
They also have capsules, 60 will run you 29.95
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Feosol Iron Supplement Review

NEW! Feosol® Complete with Bifera (30ct Heme/Non heme iron supplement)

Since Monkey tends to have low iron every time she goes to give blood, we were super excited to try out Feosol.  Though she hasn’t attempted to give blood again, I’m pretty sure it will help with that whole low iron thing!  Below are the details:  Feeling weak and fatigued could over a result of your busy schedule. However, they could also be symptoms of iron deficiency. Iron is vital for maintaining energy levels and good health — but did you know that over 7.8 million women in the United States are iron deficient? Once a doctor diagnoses iron deficiency they often recommend an iron supplement, but up to half of the individuals who take iron supplements experience uncomfortable side effects such as nausea and constipation, causing many to abandon the treatment altogether.

Feosol® Complete with Bifera® is the only iron supplement that combines heme iron (the type of iron you get in red meat) and non-heme iron (similar to the iron found in dark leafy greens). Best of all, it is specially designed with sensitive stomachs in mind. These two forms of iron provide for maximum absorption while minimizing the common uncomfortable side effects such as constipation and nausea.

Feosol® Complete with Bifera is sold at many local retail stores. As with any iron containing product, be sure to keep it out of reach of children to avoid accidental overdose. For more information on Feosol® Complete, as well as purchasing information please visit www.Feosol.com.

I received a bottle to try in hopes I would post about it.  There was no other compensation and my comments are always my own.  Please see PR tab for full details!

Pine Brothers Throat Drops Review

Hey everyone!  With the cold weather moving in, I was pleased to get to do a review of Pine Brothers Throat Drops.  They’ve already come in handy!!!

My Mom has breathing issues and frequently has coughing fits.  So naturally she was excited to test them out with me!  The first night she had coughing fits she reached for Pine Brothers and was amazed at how fast her throat was soothed!  She said it only took a few seconds and her throat no longer had that itchy feeling.

Pine Brothers has been around since 1870!

Here’s the description as provided for the review:

Ulysses S. Grant was President, the population of America hovered at 39 million, and the telephone was still a pipe dream, when in 1870 J. Herman Pine hung out a confectionery shingle on 8th Street above Walnut in Philadelphia and, along with his brother, sold their first batch of what they called ‘Pine Brothers Glycerine Tablets.’ In an attempt to relieve his own sore throat and those of his family members, Mr. Pine, a former German confectionery maker, determined that by combining the soothing natural qualities of glycerin with the healing properties of gum acacia, he could sooth and mitigate the mild discomfort of a sore throat. Add in some natural flavoring and a sweetener and voila, Pine Brothers Softish Throat Drops were born. “I have discovered something,” Pine wrote, “which will give quick throat relief to thousands afflicted as I was.” He added,”Perhaps I won’t make much money out of this. But I can make people happy, and that’s more important than money.” Mr. Pine was being unduly modest, as his “discovery” would become one of the most successful, most delicious and most unique throat lozenges in the world. Nor has the recipe changed appreciably since it was first introduced to the public over 140 years ago.

In 1930 Pine Brothers was sold to the Life Savers Company and continued to flourish. Known for its ‘soft drop consistency,’ Pine Brothers lozenges became a favorite of adults and children alike. The product, which attracted healthiest sales in the eastern and northern states, due to its icy winters, reached its peak popularity in the 1970’s. The company was sold by Life Savers, and then, having been re-sold and acquired a number of times, found itself essentially rudderless and under appreciated; this despite a legion of loyal consumers. Cost cutting changes were made to the original recipes, packaging became stale and marketing non-existent; Pine Brothers began to be made overseas. Sales declined.

Recently, Pine Brothers was acquired by the creator and former owner of Airborne, Victoria Knight-McDowell, for her new company 3 Sisters Home Products™. Much time and effort has been spent locating the original Pine Brothers recipes, redesigning the packaging, and creating an exciting yet classic new look. The natural product is once again being made in America, and is launching nationally in fall 2011. At which time old Mr. Pine, will succeed once again in “making people happy.” God bless him!

Pine Brothers Throat Drops can be found at CVS Pharmacies for about $3.49 I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Halo’s Oral Antiseptic Review

Hey Everyone!  I don’t know how it is where you are, but here cold season is fast approaching and even making some early appearances!  I was able to try out Halo’s Oral Antiseptic spray in order to let you know how it is!

So, first…  the important stuff:
What it is!
Halo is an oral antiseptic to help protect you from the airborne pathogens around you!  There is both children and adult formulas!

Advantages:
It comes in a small bottle so you can take it with you anywhere you go!  It is alcohol and sugar-free and is completely non-habit forming.  In a clinical study, Halo killed germs for up to 6 hours.  😀

Flavors:
I tried out the adult formula and Monkey tried out the Children’s.  The flavor was great and there weren’t any effects that deterred us from using it.  Tasted good, no after taste.  We were pleased!  :DI received these products to review in hopes that I would share them on my blog.  All opinions are my own.  Please see PR tab for a more detailed and legalistic mumbo jumbo description!

34 Uses for Rosemary Oil with #NewYorkBiology

34-uses-for-rosemary-oil-with-newyorkbiologyMy fascination with oils continues!  I am loving all the I’m learning and all the ways the oils are helping me!  I am all for not putting more chemicals in my body when I don’t have to!  New York Biology Rosemary Oil has been great.  It is not food safe, but there are so many uses that don’t require ingesting so it’s all good!  I have tendonitis and am in almost constant pain, even with the brace on all the time.  After doing my research for this post, I rubbed some oil straight onto my wrist with a tissue and the pain was relieved immediately!  I cannot tell you how much value this bit of relief has for me!  I have a ton to do, all of which require my right hand which is getting worse and worse!

As you can tell through the other posts, I’ve worked a lot with New York Biology lately.  I have to say, they are a great company.  They are a small business and sincerely care about their customers.  I’ve always loved supporting small businesses, but having spoken with one of the owners on multiple occasions, I am loving them even more!  I am not sure I’ve ever spoken with a business owner who cared so much about their customers that they’ll sacrifice profit to help ensure their product is affordable to everyone!

Be sure and check out my other recent oil posts, I’ve done lavendar, peppermint, sandalwood and tea tree oil.  There are tons and tons of uses and I’ve made lists of all that I could find.  I’m hoping some of you awesome readers will let me know some more!  This one even gives helps with scars and stretch marks!

36 Uses for Lavender Oil

I have a few friends who have been swearing by the use of essential oils for years.  I always knew that they had a ton of uses, I just never bothered trying to learn what those uses were.  So, having the opportunity to try out Aviner Lavender Essential Oil has inspired me to start learning.  One of my favorite uses is the helping with concentration, I’m excited to play with that one!  Lord knows I need it!  You can read an article about it and 9 other oils that help with concentration on Aviner’s blog.  I had some lavender oil from a friend and had been using it for bug bits and to help with sleep.  When I compared the two (the one I had from a large box store and the Avenir), I realized that the Avenir smells stronger and is more effective, which is interesting since both say that they are 100% pure.  The Avenir, however, also says it’s 100% pure.  That seems to be the only obvious difference, but the subtle difference in smell is also noticeable.  Overall, I really am loving the lavender oil from Aviner!!!  Thier prices are quite reasonable and their selection is outstanding!

36 Uses for Lavender Oil

Please note that I received this product in exchange for a review and my honest opinion.  My Crafty Zoo with never misrepresent their feelings on any product, promotional or otherwise.

I’d Love to Know….
