Garlic is absolutely awesome. Not only does it taste amazing in almost everything but it has so many fantastic uses and positive health affects! This book will help you feel better and live healthier.
This book was written by Susan Branson and published by Familius Publishing. We’ve reviewed two of her other books and you’re gonna love them, 101 Uses for Apple Cider Vinegar and 101 Uses for Essential Oils. This series of books have been absolutely fabulous, full of uses I hadn’t heard or thought of along with how to use them.
Chief ZooKeeper is from Louisiana where garlic is known as one of the Trinity. One of the three ingredients we must have in everything. Well, almost everything. I have a tendency to add way more than recipes call for as we really do love the flavor. Minced garlic is always on hand in our house. Always. Anyway…
On to the Show, Folks.
If you read the other book reviews from the 101 Amazing Uses series that we have here, you’ll see that one of the things we love is the way the sections are marked with different shades of black and grey. As there are actually 101 uses, I won’t be listing all of them. Instead, I’ll list some of the uses that stood out to me. You’ll have to get the book to find out how to use them. One of the awesome things about these books is they have properly cited references so you can track down that the facts are true.
Chapter 1: Elevate Your Health Helps with alzheimer’s, various types of cancer, respiratory issues, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, athlete’s foot, tuberculosis, thrush, vaginal infections, ringworms, jock itch, staff infection and so many more.
Chapter 2: Enliven Your Wellness Umm. They start with aging. You know I gotta read that one! They also cover fatigue, cognitive function, common illnesses, dandruff, weight loss and so forth.
Chapter 3: Expunge Pests This chapter teaches how to get rid of pests with garlic. They cover, among others, worms (in pets), spiders, mosquitoes, ticks and snakes.
Chapter 4: Employ Extraordinary Uses This chapter covers lesser used ways of utilizing garlic. Such as disinfecting spray, gift toppers, holiday decorations, make glue and even fix cracks in glass!
This book was written by Susan Branson and published by Familius Publishing. We’ve reviewed two of her other books and you’re gonna love them: 101 Uses for Apple Cider Vinegar 101 Amazing Uses for Honey and 101 Uses for Essential Oils. We have loved their books for a long time and hopefully by now you are seeing why!
We’ve also reviewed 15 Minute Mindful Meals and A Beginner’s Guide to Rag Quilting and Skinny Southern (I know, I didn’t believe that was possible either) which were also published by Familius. They have some fantastic books and we can’t wait to bring you more!
If you are a parent, we also reviewed Dear Libby which answers questions pre-teens and teens ask everyday. Along with The Five Foundations of Successful Teens. Both of which are amazing books and do not disappoint. Familius does well at sticking by their motto!
