The War Room: Can’t Miss Life Changing Film
The War Room is a wonderful film but it’s origin is even more awe inspiring. This film may change your life.
The War Room
Here’s the deal: this is a really good movie. It’s not predictable like so many others and the message is a real and true reminder.
Another thing that makes the film super interesting is that The War Room is not something that was thought of by a writer or producer. A ‘war room’ was began out of necessity by slaves long ago. You see, as slaves were considered to be less than human, they weren’t allowed to pray and if caught doing so would be beaten.
So, out of necessity, slaves hid away to pray to God and met in the woods late at night to worship and study His Word. I love that their love for God was so passionate and strong that they found a way. Oftentimes in life we aren’t brave enough to do so. They literally were risking everything.
This information was provided by my husband’s family. It has been passed down through generations. Often we think of slavery as so long ago it’s not connected to us, however my husband grew up with his Great Grandmother in his life, whose parents were enslaved. It’s not as far removed as people often assume.
You won’t regret seeing this film. It has touching moments as well as moments of humor. While it does set out to give you a reminder, you’ll be entertained and pleased you spent your time and money.
The movie makes for great conversation for a date night, a girls night, guys night, or a group event. You won’t regret spending you evening watching this film. The message you are given from the movie can change your life if you choose to implement it.
