Made For Me is a wonderful little board book written by a Dad and has become a National Bestseller. There’s a lot of buzz about it. My husband recognized it and told me about the book and the author before I had even gotten a chance to look at it! I was impressed. Normally, this is a topic he neither knows nor cares about. For obvious reasons (keep reading and you’ll get to a link if it isn’t obvious to you).
Being Real As a Wife
Let’s be honest ladies, and if you are a gentleman reading this, you are now privy to a little secret. Men are, at no point ever, regardless of anything we may say, ever is our man sexier than when he is holding our baby, loving on our child and beaming with that amazing pride. I swear it’s like they glow or something. I’m assuming that is God’s way of making sure we don’t take our post-natal hormones and do something violent to them. haha.
That little confession was to say this, Made For Me made me cry. Not the book itself, but the title, the thought and the excerpt (listed below). It was so sweet, so perfect. Unfortunately, many of you may know our story so without our little one, this is heartbreaking. Of course, that same story is what makes it so incredibly meaningful.
So yeah, this sweet little book, is perfect for any dad or father to be.
